Semovo Welcomes New Compensation for Sperm Donors!

Sperm donor compensation is increasing to £45 per visit.

At Semovo, we're excited to share that starting October 1, 2024, sperm donors will receive £45 compensation per donation, following the latest recommendations from the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA). This increase acknowledges the time, commitment, and effort involved in sperm donation while considering the rising cost of living.

"The push for higher compensation is also the result of dedicated efforts by industry leaders, such as Semovo Director Jonathan Koslover, who successfully lobbied the HFEA to reassess and raise compensation for both sperm and egg donors as it had remained unchanged for a decade. This increase is not just a financial adjustment; it's an acknowledgement of the substantial commitment required from donors."

Transform lives through sperm donation

Sperm donation is one of the most impactful ways you can help others. By donating, you're giving individuals and couples struggling with infertility the opportunity to build the family they've always dreamed of. It's a simple yet powerful way to create a lasting difference in someone's life.

Many donors find the experience extremely rewarding, knowing they've played a crucial role in someone's journey to parenthood. Whether you want to contribute to society or support others, sperm donation offers a unique chance to make a difference.

Modern, comfortable facilities

At Semovo, we aim to make the sperm donation process as straightforward and comfortable as possible. Our six donation centres can be found across the north of the UK and are accessible to those living or working nearby Manchester City Centre, South Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield and Glasgow.

Our locations are modern, clean and comfortable, with donation rooms that are designed to accommodate sperm donors. At each location, our experienced team will be there to support you every step of the way, answering questions and providing guidance. From your first visit to regular follow-ups, we're committed to ensuring you feel supported throughout your donor journey.

Fair compensation for your contribution

We believe in fairly compensating your time and effort for your generous donations. With the increased compensation of £45 per donation, you'll receive financial recognition that reflects your commitment. You're making a huge commitment for the sake of others, so we're delighted to offer sperm donors this additional £10 per donation.

Be part of something greater

By becoming a sperm donor, you're not just helping individuals and families, you're joining a community of donors dedicated to making a real difference. With the new compensation increase, there's never been a better time to consider sperm donation.

If you're a healthy person aged 18-45, now is the perfect time to start your journey as a sperm donor. Your decision could change someone's life forever!
