Semovo Welcomes New Compensation for Sperm Donors!

Sperm donor compensation is increasing to £45 per visit.

At Semovo, we're excited to share that starting October 1, 2024, sperm donors will receive £45 compensation per donation, following the latest recommendations from the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA). This increase acknowledges the time, commitment, and effort involved in sperm donation while considering the rising cost of living.

"The push for higher compensation is also the result of dedicated efforts by industry leaders, such as Semovo Director Jonathan Koslover, who successfully lobbied the HFEA to reassess and raise compensation for both sperm and egg donors as it had remained unchanged for a decade.
