Amelia Parkin-Green

Reproductive Technologist

Amelia is a Reproductive Technologist at Semovo. In her role, Amelia guides sperm donors through the donation journey, from initial screening to sample analysis and cryopreservation. 

Before joining Semovo, Amelia spent four years as a full-time PhD student researching the ovary, with a particular focus on the ovarian reserve and early follicle dormancy. Amelia holds a BSc in Genetics and Microbiology, an MSc in Reproductive and Developmental Medicine, and a PhD in Reproductive Medicine from The University of Sheffield. 

With a strong background in reproductive research, Amelia was inspired to combine her technical skills with patient interaction, expressing that she is a people person who really enjoys patient contact.

Important Information

As a donor, you will be reimbursed a maximum of £45 each time you visit your Semovo location to cover your expenses and loss of earnings.

To become a donor, we need you to agree to the following:

  1. Attend regular appointments and produce all donations on site by masturbation.
  2. Be screened for medical conditions throughout the process.
  3. Not put yourself at risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  4. Be registered as an identifiable donor with the UK fertility regulator, the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA).
  5. Not knowingly omit any relevant information that could affect the health of any children born as a result of your donation.
